Tracy Dawn Hobgood

September 7, 1975 - April 10, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Hobgood, age 49, who departed this life unexpectedly on April 10, 2025. A cherished resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Tracy will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and her love for fishing, as well as the deep affection she held for her grandchildren.

Tracy is survived by her three beloved daughters, Christina Sanders, Shanna Sanders, and Arianna Johnson; her son, Jared Hobgood; and her six treasured grandchildren, Tyronne Brinson, Sha’nya Sanders, Draco Sanders, Ka’Marleigh Brister, Jaliyah Sanders, and Khailani Brister. She is also survived by her devoted father, Larry Hobgood; her loving mother, Nadean King (Jim); her sisters, Crystal Weber and Ashley Clover; her brother, James Thompson, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Tracy was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Kimberlee Hobgood Dalby, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, who welcomed her into the eternal embrace of family.

In honor of Tracy’s life, visitation will take place on Monday, April 14, 2025, starting at 10 AM until the time of service at 2 PM at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will follow, where family and friends will gather to remember the joy and love she brought into their lives. Interment will immediately follow the service at Adams Family Cemetery in Isabel, Louisiana.

Tracy’s memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
