April 21, 2025 UPDATE: Stevenson has been additionally charged with 29 Counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles and 62 counts of Sexual Abuse of Animals.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested 28 year-old Dustin Stevenson from Amite. Stevenson was booked on 5 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles and four unrelated outstanding warrants.Late last month, the TPSO ICAC Unit started investigating the uploading of pornography involving juveniles onto social media. Detectives were able to identify Stevenson, who was living in Hammond at the time, as the person uploading the material. He was taken into custody Monday, April 7, along with multiple electronic devices.
Additional charges may be forthcoming as the devices seized are analyzed.
This activity is part of TPSO’s partnership with Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Office and their ICAC Task Force which includes a collaboration with numerous local law enforcement agencies.
