Donald Ray Williams

February 7, 1963 - March 25, 2025

Donald Ray Williams, age 62 and a resident of the Hackley Community, passed away Tuesday afternoon March 25, 2025 at his home after a brief illness. He was a crane operator for many years at Pride Off-Shore Drilling before retiring. Donald was a talented worker with his hands and could do just about anything with electrical, carpentry, and mechanic work. He enjoyed woodworking and had a real skill at building rocking chairs. Donald also enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Cody and Kellie Williams of Hackley; 4 Grandchildren: Natylee, Everett, Emersyn, Gabriel; Brother and Sister in law: Artie and Tammy Williams of Hackley; Sisters and a Brother in law: Susan Magee of Tylertown, Lynn and John Davis of Winter Harbor, IL; Former Wife: Janet Picou; Also numerous nieces, nephews and their families

He was preceded in death by his parents Claude Arthur Williams and Reba Hardie Williams, sister Cynthia Williams, nephew Danny Williams and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday March 27th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Thursday with Eld. Adam Luper and Rev. John Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery.
