The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office was notified Wednesday (March 19, 2025) that 33-year-old Bruno J. Laboysantiago, who was wanted by the Mercer County (New Jersey) Prosecutors Office following a homicide which occurred as the result of a road rage incident earlier this month, was believed to be in the area.
A patrol deputy with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s 3rd District observed Laboysantiago’s silver Jeep Wrangler headed eastbound on Interstate 12 near Goodbee and conducted a traffic stop just before the Highway 1077 exit.
Laboysantiago was taken into custody without incident and was booked into the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center as a fugitive.
