Harry Wayne Keaton

Harry Wayne Keaton, age 87 and of Bogalusa LA, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home.
Harry was born May 6, 1937, in Bogalusa LA. He was a Law Enforcement Officer where he retired from Rayburn Correctional Center after 20 years of service and continued his law enforcement career at Washington Parish Sheriff's Office. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by one son: Alan Miley; a sister: JoAnn; nine grandchildren: David Stewart, Quincy Stewart, Cameron Stewart, Bella Williams, Amaya Williams, Erica Monk, Ethan Monk, Alexis Monk, Chernie Miley; two great-grandchildren; three nieces and nephews: Deedee Grant, Chuck Garlot, and Mike Garlot.
Harry is preceded in death by his wife: Faye Keaton; parents: Gorman and Clara Keaton; and three sons: Elton Miley, Arlan Miley, and Anthony Keaton.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel Monday, January 27, 2025, from 5PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 10AM until time of service at 12PM. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
