Tina Juanita Norsworthy Graves

December 17, 1949 - January 2, 2025

Tina Juanita Norsworthy Graves is survived by her husband of 53 years, Charles Leonard Graves, her son, Patrick Shane Graves, her daughter MaChelle Byrne (Johnnie Corkern), her son, Franklin Donald Graves (Felicia), her son, Raymond Leonard Graves (Clara), and her son, Danny Graves. A brother, Ellis Norsworthy (Penny), a sister, Diane Herring.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Evelyn Norsworthy, a son, Charles Leonard Graves, Jr.

She has been blessed with 64 grandchildren and great grandchildren. A few of the Grandchildren are… Cameron Graves, Rockie Graves, David Carpenter (Miranda). Lorah Carpenter (Bryan), Sarah-MaChelle’ Blackwell, Rabeccah Williams (Randall), Amber Jarrell (Brent), Kaitlyn Graves, Jessica Young (Jesse), Justin Dunaway, and there were so many more along with all the great grandchildren. Her nieces and nephews were numerous along with her cousins. She had an amazingly huge family.

She was the most loving, caring, beautiful woman that anyone could have asked for. If she was your friend, you had a friend for life. You could tell her anything and I promise you that if you said it was a secret, she took it with her to heaven. She was someone that loved her children and grandchildren more than anything. Spending time with them was what made her happy; from family reunions, to going to the beach or camping with them at Wiggins or on the coast. She also loved being a part of her daughter’s dance studio and being Granny to everyone that came through the doors for the past 20 years.

If you ever wanted to see a true and lasting marriage was, all you had to do was look at her and Chuck. Like every marriage, they had their struggles, but they would talk it out and overcome everything that life threw at them. Their love for each other, the laughs they shared was infectious. They loved to hunt and fish together, but most of all they loved to sit on their front porch and watch the hummingbirds and all the kids play.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements:

• Wake and funeral will be held at Westside Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1107 W. 9th St, Bogalusa, La. 70427

• Wake - Monday, January 6, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. 

• Funeral - Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 11:00 am, followed by a graveside interment at Ponemah Cemetery, 1136 Louisiana Avenue, Bogalusa, La. 70427.
