Jeffrey Frank "Redneck" Roberts
December 4, 1963 - January 6, 2025
Jeffrey Frank "Redneck" Roberts, age 61, was born December 4, 1963 in New Orleans to Pete and Grace Roberts and passed away Monday night January 6, 2025 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He grew up on a dairy farm, milking cows and farming. Growing up on a farm he grew to love tractors. Jeff loved to ride motorcycles and got several broken bones as a result. He later belonged to a bike group, Brother 2 Brother, where he and other members did lots of charity work and helped many people in the community that were in need. Jeff and Vicky were married in 1983 and made a good life with their two daughters Shanna and Jessica. He made a career early in life as a truck driver, where he soon became known as “Redneck” to many good friends. Nobody could back up a big truck quite as good as him. Once his grandkids came, they were his life. Jeff loved to pick and get them stirred up over anything. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends. He loved cook outs and talking about all the good times with cousins, aunts, uncles and old friends. He never met a stranger and would talk to anyone.
Prayer for a Truck Driver: “Down all the highways that you travel, blacktop, stone or even gravel, on every journey through and through, may God’s Angels ride with you.”
