Robert Sidney Stafford

July 24, 1975 - January 25, 2025

Robert Sidney Stafford, age 49 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Saturday morning January 25, 2025 following an automobile accident. He was born on July 24, 1975 and was a Class of 1993 graduate of Franklinton High School before attending Sullivan Vocational School training as an electrical lineman. Robert worked for many years at CLECO and Washington/St. Tammany Electric Co-Op. He currently served with Gold Coast Utility Specialists as a foreman. He loved riding on his boat and fishing out of Bay Saint Louis. He enjoyed having Bar-B-Que cookouts and hanging out with his family and many dear friends, often watching New Orleans Saints and LSU games. The room was always full of laughter if he was in it. He also enjoyed hunting, riding his ATV and spending time with his nephews. Robert took great care of his family and enjoyed spoiling his young grandson. He loved his family more than anything else.

Survived by: 4 Children: Kelsey Stafford and her son James “Ozzy” Erwin, Morgan Stafford, Harley Slaven, Jaxon Slaven; Mother: Pam Smith Stafford; Brother and Sister in law: Craig and Amanda Stafford; Sister and Brother in law: Jiane and Frankie Tate; Nephews and a Niece: Dylan Stafford, Kyle Cutrer, Kaylin Cutrer; Also numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and many special friends

He was preceded in death by his father Bob Stafford, grandparents Hoyt and Dorothy Stafford, Ralph and Vivian Smith and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday January 29th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. Jimmy Oalmann and Rev. Lenard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Baptist Church Cemetery.
