We have received numerous unconfirmed reports of a major arrest this morning (January 7, 2025) in Bogalusa and are waiting for confirmation from Louisiana State Police, Louisiana Attorney General, Federal District Court, Washington Parish Sheriff's Office, and/or Bogalusa Police Department.
WWL Louisiana is reporting that “Bogalusa Mayor Tyrin Truong was arrested early Tuesday morning in a joint effort by Louisiana State Police and the Bogalusa Police Department."
We will report the latest as we receive confirmed reports.
