Bonnie Cartwright Cundiff

August 13, 1942 - December 4, 2024

Bonnie Cartwright Cundiff, age 82 and a resident of Mount Hermon, passed away Wednesday morning December 4, 2024 at her home. She was a longtime resident of Metairie that had lived with her son in Washington Parish for the last two years. Bonnie had a long career as a secretary at J.R. Equipment Rental in Jefferson, LA before retiring. She was a former member of Crescent City Baptist Church that truly loved the Lord and all those around her. The family recognizes the forgiveness she showed to so many people as an uncommon trait that only comes from the Lord. Bonnie enjoyed working crossword puzzles and cooking for her family with spaghetti and meatballs and stove top Bar-B-Que chicken being just a couple of their many favorites. She liked to go to the movies and go out to eat, especially Italian food. Bonnie had a special place in her heart for animals and she loved spending time with her family.

Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Mark Cundiff, Ariel and Patty Cundiff; 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Kellie and Rev. Mark Griffin, Charis and Hanz Harris; 4 Grandchildren and Spouses: Ben Griffin, Alyssa and Jacques Petit, Andrew Griffin, Patrick and Emily Sofranec and their daughter Josie; Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

She was preceded in death by her parents Owen Cartwright and Hester Breakfield Cartwright, sisters Iris June Cartwright and Brenda C. Guillot.

A graveside funeral service will be held in Mount Hermon Cemetery at 11:00 am Saturday December 7th with Rev. Randall Griffin officiating.
