Virginia Thames Ferguson

January 30, 1961 - December 26, 2024

Virginia Thames Ferguson, age 63 and a resident of Amite, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2024 at Our Lady of Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge.

She attended Lewiston Baptist Church for many years. She was raising her grandson Ryder and loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She was avid reader of her Bible. She was a kind and caring person that put everyone else before herself. She enjoyed watching T V Land. She was very talented and used her talent to arrange flowers.

Survived by: Son: Charles Ferguson; 3 Daughters and a son in law: Bridget F. and David Fairburn, Raven Ferguson, Jasmine Ferguson; Grandchildren: Derrick Levi Meyers, Laine Allen Soileau (Brianna), Jordyn Allen Soileau, Michael Allen Soileau, David Weston Veasey, Morgan Nicole Montreuil (Brandon), Ryder Larix Ferguson, Remy Lee Farrior; Sister: Theresa T. Cooper; Brother in law: George Holmes; Mother in law: Ruby Ferguson Theriot; Numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents Ford and Josephine Rials Thames, father in law Charles Ferguson, brothers Larry Thames, Dale Thames and Roger Thames, sister Judy T. Holmes and other family members.

Visitation will be at Stateline Pentecostal Church, 494 Simon Rd, Tylertown, MS, 39667 on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9 am until time of memorial service to be held at 11 am with officiating Bro. Brandon Wilkins. Burial of remains will be at Oak Grove Pentecostal Church, Jayess, MS.
