Robbie D. Miller, Sr.

February 16, 1939 - December 18, 2024

Robbie D. Miller, Sr., age 85 and of Bogalusa, Louisiana, went to be Home with the Lord on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in Our Lady of the Angels Hospital.

Mr. Miller was born February 16, 1939. He was retired from Crown Zellerbach, and a Mason. He was an exceptional story teller, wood worker, and, above all, devoted Husband, Dad, and "Pop Pop" to the family he adored. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew David Miller and Leona Williams Miller; three siblings and their respective spouses, Dudley Joe Miller and his wife Claudine, Betty Davis and her husband Bobby, Randy Miller and his wife Arlene; and one granddaughter, Hope Elizabeth Miller.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 54 years, Carolyn Miller; three children, Scott A. Miller, Robbie D. Miller, Jr., and Angel Bates and her husband Danny; six grandchildren, Blaise Miller, Blaine Bates, Wiley Homrich, Mason Miller, Alivia Bates, Nila J. Miller; four great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Boglusa, LA, 70427) on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ben's Ford Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am, Friday at the funeral home.
