The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) is asking for the public’s help in locating a rape suspect, 34 year-old Kentell Sims. A warrant for Sims' arrest was obtained on charges including First Degree Rape, Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Sexual Battery.
Earlier this month, TPSO was notified about the Amite-area crime involving a teenager. During the investigation, Sims was identified as the suspect. While he has been in communication with detectives, he refuses to turn himself in.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker is asking anyone with information about Sims’ whereabouts to contact our Juvenile Juvenile Division at 985-902-2031.
