Wanted MS Man Caught in Angie After Chase

On November 6, 2024, Trevor J. Vince, age 26 and of Sandy Hook, MS, was booked into the Washington Parish Jail on one count of resisting an officer by flight-aggravated flight, one count of resisting an officer (flight on foot), and one count of operating an off-road vehicle on a highway, and for a felony warrant in the state of Mississippi.

On the afternoon of November 6, Vince was seen by an officer on patrol operating an ATV on Highway 21 in Angie, LA. After pretending to pull over, Vince accelerated away from the officer and initiated a chase that led west down HWY 438. Vince swerved into the oncoming lane multiple times, causing at least one vehicle to narrowly miss him. After turning onto Military Road, Vince crashed the ATV into a ditch and continued fleeing on foot into the nearby woods. The officer pursued Vince for approximately a mile before Vince attempted to lay down and hide, at which point he was quickly located and arrested.

Vince is being held on $5,000 bail, and was a fugitive from the state of Mississippi at the time of his arrest.
