Daylight saving time will end on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 2 a.m., at which time it will reset to 1 a.m. That will put us back into standard time and end Daylight Saving Time.
Many devices, such as smartphones and computers, will automatically change to standard time, but devices, such as microwaves, stoves, coffee makers and some car radios, as well as any analog clock — the ones with with hands — will likely need to be changed manually.
In the fall, clocks fall back one hour and we will gain an extra hour of sleep (debatable). Also, be aware that clock changes are associated with an increase in heart attacks, strokes, traffic accidents and depression.
