Phillip "Dude" Slocum
August 5, 1960 - October 7, 2024
Phillip "Dude" Slocum, age 64 and a resident of Mt. Hermon, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born August 5, 1960. He was a self-employed painter that had painted for numerous people around the community and parish. Phillip enjoyed fishing with his friend Rayford Johnson.
Survived by: Sisters: Martha Burk and husband John, Betty Magee and husband Doug King; Brothers: Daniel “Dan” Slocum and wife Diane; T.C. Slocum, Jr.; Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents T.C. and Omie Miller Slocum, siblings William Ray Slocum, David Slocum, Joseph Slocum, Ruth Slocum, James Slocum, Mary Slocum, Samuel Slocum, Donald Slocum, Marie Slocum.
A service will be held at a later date.
