Must be 18 to apply, and possess a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking skills, and be able to work on rotating shifts. Pay is $16/hr.
- Corrections Deputies work in the Washington Parish Jail, providing safety and security to our inmates while maintaining law and order within the facility. Our team works together to keep the facility humming along, and a functioning jail is critical to maintaining law and order within the community. Must be 18 to apply, and possess a valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED. Pay is $14.25/hr.
- Patrol Deputies are our front-line team members, working with the public to maintain peace and safety within our community. Non-certified applicants may work in the jail until they are offered a slot at our training academy to become POST certified patrol deputies. Base pay depends on experience and certifications.
