Columbia MS Duo Arrested for Drugs and More

On October 30, 2024, Narcotics Investigators with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Columbia Police Department, concluded a drug investigation, serving a residential search warrant at 15 Williamsburg Road, Columbia, MS.

During the search, Investigators seized Methamphetamine, Liquid, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Prescription Medication, Scales, Drug Bagging Materials, Firearms, and a variety of drug paraphernalia items. 

Arrested were:

• Amy Nicole Carroll, age 38 and of Columbia, was arrested and charged with Trafficking (Armed), Possession of Methamphetamine while in possession of a Firearm, Felony Child Endangerment, and two counts of Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

• Covey Allen Blansett, age 35 and of Columbia, was arrested and charged with Trafficking (Armed), Possession of Methamphetamine while in Possession of a Firearm,  Felony Child Endangerment, two counts of Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance, four counts of Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Sale or Transfer of a Controlled Substance. Blansett was also arrested on a Mississippi Department of Corrections warrant, two Contempt warrants, and a Failure to Appear warrant. 

Carroll and Blansett are both currently being housed at the Marion County Jail awaiting bonds.
