Christopher Odren Crowe
February 21, 1970 - September 17, 2024
Christopher Odren Crowe, 54 years young, born in Franklinton on February 21, 1970 to the late Lonnie Crowe and Cindy Boyd Crowe, left home, surrounded by his family, to meet his Lord on Tuesday September 17, 2024, after a long battle with liver failure. He attended Franklinton High School, where he was a member of the Demons football team and was later a graduate of Bowling Green High School Class of 1989 also excelling for the Buccaneers football team. Chris worked off-shore for several years and more recently worked in metal fabrication, while living in Monroe, LA for 5 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the camp and farming. Chris loved working in his small garden and tending to his plants. He grew different types of vegetables but especially jalapeno peppers for the delicious Jalapeno Cowboy Candy he would make to share with his family and friends. He was a loving Dad and Paw Paw, wanting to spend as much time with his grandchildren as possible. He was always a very fun-loving, friendly person with an infectious personality that lit up every situation. Chris will be forever missed by his loved ones and friends.
Survived by: 3 Children: Autumn Crowe of Winchester, TN, Jacob Crowe and Chassity, Elizabeth Crowe all of Franklinton; Grandchildren: Marlee Badon, Ivy Houston, Kamille Houston, Adelynn Crowe, Everleigh and Easton; Mother: Cindy Boyd Brumfield of Franklinton; Brothers and Sisters in law: Matthew and Molly Crowe of Tylertown, MS, Jason and Nora Crowe of West Virginia, John Scott and Mingo Brumfield of Franklinton, Bradley and Dana Brumfield of Summit, MS; Grandmother: Joy Boyd; Special Friends: Chris Smalley, Jeff Sumrall, Greg Holmes; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many dear friends
He was preceded in death by his son Tyler Odren Crowe, father Lonnie Odren Crowe, grandmother Zelia Crowe, grandfather Truly Boyd and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday September 20th from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 pm Friday with Rev. Frederick Brumfield and Rev. Ronnie Chaisson officiating.
