Melissa Seal Magee

April 20, 1977 - August 30, 2024

Melissa Seal Magee, age 47 and a resident of the Stateline Community passed away Friday night August 30, 2024. She was born April 20, 1977. Missy, as she was known to family and friends, was employed at Bellsouth as a switchboard operator for a period of time. She attended Pine High School and made a profession of faith to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a teenager. Around this time, she met and married the love of her life Heath Magee. They were married 10 years before his sudden passing. Missy was a very caring individual that was always available to offer a hand to anyone in need. Missy had the friendliest demeanor and always took others feelings into consideration. She had friends both far and wide that she liked to spend time with. She enjoyed listening to music, playing games on her phone and spending time with her family. Missy loved her children and her nieces and nephews and enjoyed visiting with them as much as possible, Missy will be missed dearly by her loved ones and friends. After 20 years of grieving her husband’s tragic death, she is reunited with him in Heaven.

Survived by: 3 Children and Spouses: Dallas and Jourdyn Magee, Blair and Casey Burge, Tyler and Betty Magee; 5 Grandchildren: Cason, Coda, Khloe, Riley, Katie; Parents: Wilson and Valerie Seal of Stateline; Siblings: Jared Seal, Tara Seal Hartzog; Nephews and Nieces: Jayden Seal, Hannah Temples, Haleigh Temples, Cale Temples; Also numerous beloved aunts, uncles,, cousins and many dear friends

She was also preceded in death by her grandparents Talmadge and Pollie Seal, Ray and Elvie Stogner and a special aunt Lorraine Stogner.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday September 3rd from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 pm Tuesday with Eld. Yancy Magee and Eld. Richard Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Creek-Magee Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family are greatly appreciated.
