Delores Quinn

June 6, 1954 - August 6, 2024

On June 6, 1954 Delores Quinn was born to Willean Quinn Anders in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was the oldest child of seven.

She grew up in Bogalusa, LA where she attended the public school system. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a very active and devoted Christian.

In 2005 Delores moved to Shreveport, LA due to Hurricane Katrina. She made Shreveport her home and she embraced and shared the love of Jesus with all she met. 

Delores was the mother of one child, Christopher Lavell “Chris” Quinn. Although she gave birth to one child, she loved and mothered her nieces and nephews.

Delores memories will be cherished by her family, siblings, Sheila Anders and Connie (Michael) Martin both of Bogalusa, LA, Charles Anders and Diane Anders both of New Orleans, LA; a step sister, Florence Jones of Moss Point, MS; special cousins, Sharon Gibson and Diane Smith both of Bogalusa, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Delores is preceded in death by her mother, Willean Anders; son, Christopher Quinn; brothers, Clifton and Reginald Anders; grandparents, Tilmon and Inez Quinn; niece, Mona Varnado; nephew, Charlie and Brain Keith Hayes, and Qunicy Martin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa are in charge of arrangements.
