Colt Lane Duncan
February 2, 1961 - August 28, 2024
Colt Lane Duncan, age 63 and of Tylertown, MS, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the Walthall County General Hospital. He was born Thursday, February 2, 1961 in Franklinton, LA to the late Jimmy and Jessie Lee Duncan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in 412 Beulah Ave., Tylertown, MS. There will also be a visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM with Bro. Don Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow in Duncan Family Cemetery. Hartman Hughes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Lane was a devoted father and husband that had an outstanding work ethic. He provided for his family working 40+ years as a truck driver. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, who was quick witted, funny, and never afraid to say what was on his mind. The memories made with his family will be cherished always. As Lane would say, “Ooh Boy!”.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa S Strickland Duncan; daughters Alicia Duncan Pace (Kaleb) and Shonna Duncan Lindsey (Dewayne); step-son Wendell Lea; step-daughter Jennifer Strickland; grandchildren, Morgan Lindsey, Ethan Lindsey, Desmond Breland, Brynleigh Lindsey, Duncan Breland, Shepherd Pace, Lane Pace, and Sienna Strickland; mother of the heart Faye Graves; 2 brothers; 1 sister: along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Lindsey, Kaleb Pace, Shepherd Pace, Desmond Breland, Duncan Breland, Ethan Lindsey, and Anthony Glenn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris O`Bryant, Wendell Lea, Sydney Singley, and Cookie Singley.
