Thomas Elsworth Welch IV

May 31, 1999 - August 7, 2024

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Thomas Welch, IV. He was born May 31, 1999 and passed away on August 7, 2024. He had a passion for fishing and spent countless hours enjoying the serenity of the outdoors. He found peace and solace in nature, and his love for fishing brought him joy throughout his life. His love for the sport was evident to all who knew him, and he was always eager to share his knowledge and expertise with others.

Thomas leaves his cherished son Archer Long, who was his pride and joy. He was a dedicated father who cherished every moment spent with his son, who will forever hold his memory close to his heart. Thomas was the beloved grandson of Thomas Welch, Jr. and Wanda Puket and Iris McKimmy. He was the beloved son of Thomas Welch, III and Ruthie Welch and Crystal Creekmore. His siblings were Chelsea Welch, Makayla Welch, Kasie Watson, Brittney Watson and Daniel Watson. He is also survived by aunts Sabrina Thomas, Tammy Smith and Chantal Henderson. A nephew D J Watson and numerous cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ora McKimmy and an Aunt Brandy Creekmore.

Thomas will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, unwavering love for his family and friends and most of all his contagious laughter. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.

May he rest in peace and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who love him.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Leroy McElveen officiating.
