Loranger Couple Arrested for Narcotics and Firearms Offenses

A Loranger couple has been arrested on multiple drug charges following a surveillance operation by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) Narcotics team.

Corey Cook, age 40, and Quenesha Jackson, age 30, were booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on July 29, 2024 for Possession of Weapons While in Possession of CDS (2 for Cook), Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II and III narcotics, Illegal Use of a CDS in the Presence of a Minor (2), and Drug Paraphernalia. Jackson had an additional charge of Obstruction of Justice.

Following a complaint about suspicious activity, TPSO narcotics detectives began a surveillance operation of a home on Milk Plant Road in Loranger. Their observations resulted in a traffic stop where Cook was arrested after the discovery of a gun, and several pill bottles with various drugs including Hydrocodone and Xanax.

Detectives then obtained and executed a search warrant for the Milk Plant Road home. There, detectives found Jackson attempting to get rid of drugs including Crystal Meth and Soboxone in the presence of the couple’s two children. Two guns were also found in the home.

The children were turned over to the custody of a relative.
