Obituary

Almire Eileen El-Amin

April 26, 1977 - July 23, 2024

Almire Eileen El-Amin was born to Martha El-Amin and the late Wilson El-Amin on April 26,1974 in Bogalusa, La. She peacefully transitioned on July 23, 2024 at Riverside Medical Center.

Almire was known by many as Al, Allycat, or Martha’s 5. She graduated Franklinton High School c/o 1991. She continued her journey by attending Grambling State University and briefly attending a culinary school. This is when she discovered her passion for cooking.

Almire was a great mother to her son, Amir El-Amin, who was called home to Jesus at an early age. Almire was always known for her contagious smile and great sense of humor. She was a stranger to no one. Almire enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her beloved pets.

She enjoyed watching “hot topic” and reality shows. She was so full of joy and wisdom. She always shared her personal experiences in life with others. Almire was definitely a daughter, friend, sister, and aunt you could count on. She will be forever greatly missed.

Those left to cherish her memories are; her mother, Martha El-Amin; three brothers, Zaboor El-Amin, Sadat El-Amin, and Saleem El-Amin (Kendall); one sister, Latif El-Amin (Priscilla), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home - Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
