Tommy Bell

April 17, 1957 - July 18, 2024

Tommy Bell was born on April 17, 1957 to the late L.C. Smith and Norma Taylor (Bell) in Bogalusa, La.

Tom attended and graduated from Franklinton High School, class of 1977, and later moved to Austin TX, where he worked for many years in the roofing business. Tom resided in Austin TX for 20 plus years and in the latter years of life, he found solace in Franklinton, where he remained until his passing. Tom was a very outgoing person who loved his family very much and was always the life of the party.

Tom Leaves to cherish his memory: One Son, Tommy Bell Jr. (Elizabeth Bell) of Albuquerque NM, One Grandchild; Omahue Nieto, of Mountainair NM, Sisters; Sandra Gayle (James Earl) Brock of Chicago IL, Wilda Magee of Houston, TX; Wanda Butcher of Columbus OH; One Brother; Allen Taylor of Franklinton La, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. 

Tom was proceeded in death by his father; L.C. Smith, Mother Norma Taylor, Brothers; Emil Taylor, Phillip Taylor, L.C Taylor, and Lawrence Taylor, Sisters; Dorthy Crosby, Yvonne Henrey, and Catherine “Faye” Lee, Sister-in-law; Emma Taylor. 

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM followed by the funeral service at 1:00AM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home 2000 Washington Street Franklinton, LA 70438. Interment - Magee Cemetery. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
