Noting that more juveniles are out after curfew, now that summer break is here, Covington Police have advised they will be stepping up enforcement of Covington's juvenile curfew.
Here's a quick rundown:
- Curfew applies to: Anyone under 17 years old
- Curfew hours: Sunday - Thursday: 11:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Friday & Saturday: 12:01 AM - 5:00 AM
- Exceptions: Accompanied by a custodian (parent/guardian), Running a reasonable errand, Attending official events (school, religious, civic)
Juveniles found in violation may be brought to the station and guardians contacted.
Guardians may be cited for violations.
