Slidell Police Raid Results in 2 Arrests – One Still Wanted

Yesterday (Wednesday – May 8, 2024) morning, the Slidell Police SWAT team and Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at 1026 Sterling Oaks Blvd. In Slidell and  located weapons, narcotics and paraphernalia inside of the residence, along with two convicted felons: 30-year-old, Dustin Rupple and 43-year-old, Salvatore Marchese. 

It all began with Slidell Police narcotics detectives receiving multiple complaints about suspected narcotics trafficking. An investigation concluded that narcotics (particularly meth and fentanyl) were being sold out of the residence and a search warrant was issued.  



Rupple was arrested on two counts of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic w/ the Intent to Distribute (Fentanyl), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Schedule I Narcotic, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Marchese (image not available) was arrested on a Fugitive warrant and Felon in Possession of a Firearm, as well as various narcotics related charges.

Currently wanted is 48-year-old, Richard Dantin, for Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Slidell Police report that this is the second narcotics search warrant that has been executed at this residence. Mr. Rupple was recently sentenced to 7 years for his last arrest, but was released early less than three weeks ago.
