Ivy W. Ridgedell, Jr., a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his home. He was born March 8, 1944 in Madisonville, LA and was 80 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ruby Faye Brown Ridgedell; 2 daughters, Anita Dunnington (Bee) and Loretta Day (Wendell); 1 sister, Margaret Cutrer (J.P.); 3 grandchildren, Amy Raiford (Justin), Thomas Dunnington, and Brittany Dunnington (Aaron); 6 great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Lauryn, Jaise, Bexly, Lili, and Nikki.
Preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Minnie Lou Ridgedell; brothers, Richard, Donald, and Gregory; sister, Joyce; and grandson, Wendell “Scott” Day, Jr.
Celebration of Life Visitation at Shady Grove Baptist Church from 5:00PM until 9:00PM on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
