Forgery Suspect Wanted in Tangipahoa Parish

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect of a forgery and identity theft incident. Sheriff Daniel Edwards says on March 27, 2024, a white male entered a store on Highway 1064 and Whiskey Lane in Tickfaw where he attempted to use a fraudulent check and identification card which belonged to another person. 

The suspect is described as having a medium build, and was seen wearing a sleevess black tank top, black pants and light-colored shoes. The suspect also wears a baseball cap and is seen to have visible tattoos on his arms.
