Elizabeth McNeese Stillwell

October 18, 1943 - April 7, 2024

Elizabeth McNeese Stillwell, age 80, passed away on April 7, 2024, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, LA. Mrs. Elizabeth was a graduate of Bogalusa High School and a life-long resident of Bogalusa, where she served as a school guard, primarily at Annunciation. She also co-owned a florist shop in Bogalusa named “The Flower Basket”. She was a proud mother, but she had a special love for her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Elizabeth spent her free time doing various crafts and activities.

Mrs. Elizabeth is survived by two daughters Kellie (Glynn) Hebert and Dana (Frankie) Smith; four grandchildren: Layken Duncan, Kayla Duncan, Gage Duncan, and Lexie Hebert; two bonus grandchildren: Nathan Smith and Devin Smith; two great-grandchildren, Kaidaline Duncan and Caroline Duncan; three bonus great-grandchildren: Miranda Smith, Adalynn Smith, and Haylynn Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by devoted husband of 58 years: Mr. “Bob” Stillwell, Jr.; her parents: Hezzie and Annie McNeese; two sisters: Sylvia Josephine McNeese Byrd and Nita Faye McNeese; a niece: Donna Byrd Givens; one sister-in-law: Betty Flynn; one nephew: Tommy Flynn; and one great-nephew: Corey Flynn.

Brown-McGehee Funeral proudly serves the Stillwell family. Thursday, April 11, 2024, visitation will start in the funeral home chapel at 4PM until time of service at 6PM. Bro. Jimmy Byrd will officiate the service.
