John "Big Daddy" Jones
June 26, 1966 - April 13, 2024
John “Big Daddy” Jones, age 57, passed away on April 13, 2024, in Bogalusa, LA. He was a life-long resident of Bogalusa, LA. John was a past rider of the LA Riders, delivered several presents as Santa, and also pulled a motorcycle hearse for other fallen bikers. He is described by everyone who knew him as a selfless, patient, and big-hearted individual. John brought smiles and joy to numerous people here in our parish and wherever he may have traveled. He will be immensely missed by his family, friends, and community.
John is survived by a daughter: Heather Jones Wagner; five grandchildren: Emily Jones, Hunter Wagner, Kyle Wagner, Henry Wagner, and Chloe Wagner; two brothers: Jimmy Jones and Kenny Jones (Heidi); one sister: Judy Jones Spears (Garland); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James C. Jones and Patricia Ann Husser Williams; and two sister-in-laws: Stacy Ann Jones and Elizabeth Ann Jones.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
