LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station will host third annual Spring Garden Day and Plant Sale!

The LSU AgCenter Hammond Research Station will hold its third annual Spring Garden Day and Plant
Sale on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 from 7:30AM to 1:00 PM at the Hammond Research Station (21549 Old Covington Highway, Hammond, LA 70403). Rain or shine, this family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

We will offer a huge selection of plants, including Louisiana Super Plants, annual bedding, pollinator plants, tropical plants, houseplants, herbs, veggies, and unique species from our research station. There will also be educational sessions covering lawn maintenance and water management, garden pests, plant diseases, sustainable landscaping, and container gardening from LSU AgCenter specialists. Tangipahoa Master Gardeners will be hosting fun children’s activities, a small plant sale, plant swap, education booths, and a garden shop in tandem!
