Covington Chief Michael Ferrell states, "I am proud of the hard work and dedication of our Patrol Division. Their proactive approach is instrumental in deterring criminal activity and protecting out citizens."
Chief Ferrell has advised that Covington Police officers, in the past few days, have recovered:
- A stolen vehicle from Tangipahoa Parish
- A firearm stolen from Mississippi
- Three illegally possessed firearms
- Deadly fentanyl, crack, powder cocaine, and methamphetamine
