Doree Lynn Saucier

September 6, 1957 - February 23, 2024

Doree Lynn Saucier, age 66 and of Bogalusa, Louisiana, passed away on February 23, 2024. She was born on September 6, 1957 in Bogalusa.

Doree was employed with Walmart for 16 years and also worked as a phlebotomist at Quest Diagnostics in 2007, Riverside Medical Center, and Biomedical Diagnostics. She cherished the friendships she made throughout her career.

She was a beloved member of Enon Baptist Church.

Doree is survived by her husband, Harry Saucier; her children, Megan (Adam) Pace of Bogalusa, Shane (Lori) Sandifer of Franklinton, Byron (Mandy) Sandifer of Bogalusa; her sister, Tera (Billy) Stringer of Varnado; her grandchildren: Drew Sandifer, Mckayla (Jordan) Phelps, Amber Corkern, Paige Corkern, Mason Sandifer, Silas Pace, Maggie Rose Pace; her great-grandchildren: Rynleigh Reynolds, Avery Kate Sandifer, Blair Sandifer, Ryleigh Fornea, Kloie Phelps, and was preceded in death by her father, James Davis, mother, Kathleen Seal Davis, and sister, Beverly K. Davis.

Services will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 11:00 am. Brother Chris Wheeler will officiate. Burial will follow in Hillview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and have visitation from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
