Tyryn Bailey, age 17, is wanted for the offenses of Second Degree Murder/Attempted, Aggravated Battery, Reckless Discharge of Firearm at a parade or demonstration, and Illegal Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile.
Last Friday (February 2, 2024) at approximately 9:05 PM, Mandeville Police Officers responded to a report of a shot fired during the Krewe of Eve Parade on the parade route off of highway 22 near McDonald’s in Mandeville. The shooting incident occurred following a physical altercation. A weapon was discharged among a large crowd of juveniles and parade goers. A juvenile on scene obtained a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported for medical attention.
Following investigation, the perpetrator was identified as Tyryn Bailey, and an arrest warrant was obtained.
