B. Jeanette Polezcek

February 6, 1948 - January 7, 2024

B. Jeanette Polezcek, age 75, passed away on January 7, 2024, surrounded by family in Amite, LA. She was born in Bogalusa, LA, but was a resident of Albany for the past 43 years. She was also a member of Sheridan Jesus Name Holiness Church in Sheridan. Jeanette loved fishing, quilting, crocheting, but most of all her fur babies, Ho-Ho and Sassy.

She was survived by her devoted and loving husband of 43 years, Mr. Sidney Polezcek; two sons: Lavon Smith (Shelly) and Ronnie D. Polezcek, Sr. (Sabrina); two daughters: Gadonya Keating and Tracy Polezcek; eight grandchildren: Kindell R. Keating (Amber), Ronnie D. Polezcek, Jr. (Kailye), Dakota W. Polezcek (Katie), Sidney Polezcek, Kerri R. Carrier (Blake), Virgil W. Polezcek, Racheal Murphy (Matt), and Robyn Pape; eleven great-grandchildren: Kaiden Keating, Brantley Keating, Waylon Keating, Alayna Polezcek, Bowen Polezcek, Lane Lambert, Ryleigh Lambert, Keith Polezcek, Kayden Carrier, Ryan Murphy, and Ryleigh Harrison; one brother: Raymond Rester (Sharon); three sisters: Jane Creel, Tammy Creel, and Diane Sanders.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents: Aurthur Rester and Maudie Roberts; two sons: Sidney Polezcek and Windell (Wink) Keating; and five brothers: David Rester, Huburt Rester, Ray Rester, Jerry Rester, and Richard Rester.

Pallbearers are as follows: Lavon Smith, Ronnie D. Polezcek, Sr., Ronnie D. Polezcek, Jr., Dakota W. Polezcek, Kindell R. Keating, Kaiden Keating, Sidney D. Polezcek, Tony P. Lee, and Brantley Keating.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will start on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 5PM until 9PM at Sheridan Jesus Name Holiness Church (previously Lighthouse Church). Saturday, January 13, 2024, visitation will resume at the church at 10AM until time of service at 1PM. Interment will immediately follow at Pounds Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA. Bro. Charles Ray Creel will officiate all services.
