Mark Patrick Cassidy

June 4, 1966 - January 4, 2024

Mark Patrick Cassidy, age 57 and a resident of Tullahoma, TN, passed away Thursday morning January 4, 2024 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was home for the holidays visiting with family and enjoying time in the outdoors. Mark worked as an electrical technician in the offshore industry for several years but his true passion was always fishing. He loved being on the water kayaking or boating and most definitely dropping a line in any river or creek he could find, or even going out into the Gulf of Mexico when he lived on the Texas coast. Mark also enjoyed hiking, camping, searching for arrowheads and deer hunting. He was an excellent cook, especially delicious gumbo, jambalaya and outdoor Bar-B-Que. He will be forever, sadly missed by all his loved ones.

Survived by: 2 Daughters and a Son in law: Savanna and Evan Bledsoe of Corpus Christi, TX, Shawna Cassidy of Franklinton; 2 Sons: Peyton Cassidy of Mandeville, Kai Cassidy of Arnaudville, LA; Grandchildren: Annabelle, Abigail, Tatum, Jaydon, Mariana, A’Laiya, Julius; Mother: Anna Smith Carruth of Coppell, TX; Step-Mother: Betty Killingsworth Cassidy of Mt. Hermon; Siblings and Spouses: Chip and Loretta Cassidy, Tyfanni Cassidy all of Mt. Hermon, Stephanni Cassidy of Slidell, Kama and Coty Jones of Montevallo, AL, Kelli Sanburn of Franklinton, Meghann and Justin Brown of Mt. Hermon, Whitney and Max Bahm of Franklinton; Special Nephew: Collin Cassidy; Also numerous other nieces, nephews and many friends

He was preceded in death by a daughter Callie Shoemaker, son Seamus Cassidy, father Mike Cassidy and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Tuesday January 9th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Tuesday with Rev. Leonard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
