Lovell Robinson

April 20, 1972 - January 14, 2024

Lovell Robinson was born to the late Bonnie Ray and Betty Ann Robinson on April 20, 1972 in New Orleans, LA He transitioned into eternal rest peacefully on January 14, 2024 surrounded by his family at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton, LA .

Lovell was the second born of five sons, he was also known as “12” by many. He had a smile that would light up a room along with a personality that was full of life. Beginning at an early age Lovell had a passion for cutting grass as a lawn care operator for many years in Covington, LA which continued until his untimely illness. He found a joy in simple pleasures of his life whether it was spending time with family and friends, cutting grass or washing his car. His sense of humor, uniqueness and unwavering character set him apart from others. The void left by his sudden passing will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. 

Lovell leaves to cherish his memories Four Brothers, Michael (Carol) Robinson, Kendrick (Terry) Robinson, Steven Robinson and Isaiah Robinson; One Nephew, Kendrick Robinson Jr; One Niece, A’Laiya Robinson;  Five Uncles, John Sr, Reginald, David, Lionel and Willie II; Eight Aunts, Faye, Barbara, Patricia, Sandra, Corinthia, Bernell, Donis and Tammy; Lovell also leaves to cherish his memory to a special cousin who was more like a brother, Randy Anthony who assisted in any way helpful until Lovell’s untimely passing. Along with numerous relatives and friends who all shared a special impact throughout his life. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie Ray and Betty Ann Robinson. 

A visitation will be on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 4:00PM - 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Franklinton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 2:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home with Pastor Kendrick Robinson Sr. Officiating. Interment will be at the Wilson Cemetery.  

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
