Natha Lee Duncan Alford
June 24, 1938 - January 25, 2024
Natha Lee Duncan Alford, age 85, passed away Thursday afternoon January 25, 2024 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Mount Hermon and a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. Natha Lee was retired from the Washington Parish School System after a 21 year career as a teacher’s aide at Mt. Hermon School.
Survived by: 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Raymond Gene Alford, Jr. of Metairie, Kevin and Haylee Alford of New Orleans; Daughter: Janet Juskelis of Baltimore, MD; Grandsons: Andy, Matt, Corey, Mitchell, Tyler; Granddaughter: Ashley; Great-grandchildren: Kylie, Savannah, Carter, Cayden, Malaya; Brother and Sister in law: Murry Jo and Jo Duncan of Mt. Hermon; Also survived by 2 nephews, a niece and numerous cousins
She was preceded in death by her son Mark Alford, husband Raymond Alford, Sr. and parents Cleavie Duncan and Quinne Morris Duncan.
A graveside funeral service will be held in the Smith Cemetery on Hwy 1055 at 2:00 pm Sunday January 28th with Rev. Calvin Crowe officiating.
