Obituary

Bonnie Jean Ladner

Bonnie Jean Ladner, born April 26, 1946, passed away on January 20, 2024, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA. Bonnie was a God-loving woman, but once she became bed ridden, she would sit and watch church for hours on the TV since she wasn’t able to attend. The only other thing she loved more was her family. Bonnie loved the Lord and her family. We have no doubt, she was an angel sent to us to keep us on track and we know she will continue to watch over us. She will be missed by many family and friends.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 30 years: Mr. Robert Ladner; three daughters: Carrie (Emmit) Crane of Texas, Annette (Earl) Lott of Bogalusa, and Marlena (Doug) Ladner of Bogalusa; two sons: Wayne Ladner of Mississippi and Lejhamar Ladner of Bogalusa; two sisters: Cathy (Harry) Nobles and Brenda Morgan of Bogalusa; sixteen grandchildren: Terry Ladner, Kryztan Singley, Lora Ashley Williams, Collin Grizzle, Carter Grizzle, Sharon Rose Grizzle, Bridget Brame, Corbin Brame, Charles Nathaniel Willis, Bonnie Anastyzia Willis, Zebastian Willis, Maryah Willis, Charolotte Ladner, Sabrina Richard, and Haley Vares; numerous great-gradchildren: Kaysen, Kylen, Jon Luke, Ellaina, Zachary, Brad, Serenity, Marissa, Breezie, David, Adonis, and Rylee.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Lela Baker; two brothers: Charles Baker and Raymond Baker; four sisters: Marie Wolfe, Sarah Daniels, France Gaiser, and Daisy Jones; and one granddaughter: Rebeca Seales.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will start in the funeral home chapel Monday, January 29, 2024, at 10AM until time for the Celebration of Life starting at 12PM. Bro. Don Miley will be singing and speaking. Interment will immediately follow at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, LA
