Joetta Milton Holloway

April 25, 1947 - December 31, 2023

It is with a heavy hearts the family of Joetta Holloway shares her passing on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Joetta graduated from Bogalusa High School. She spent her young adult years following her husband in his Navy career moving many time finally settling in Franklinton to raise her family. She graduated from nursing school in 1990 and dedicated her life to taking care of the Franklinton Community. She enjoyed watching CSI and other criminal shows and also Hallmark movies. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gathering on her back porch having a great time with friends and family.

Survived by: Son and daughter in law: Reed and Carol Holloway of Franklinton; Daughter and son in law: Shannon and Grahme Perez of New Orleans; Grandchildren and spouses: Brody Holloway of Franklinton, Breana and Andrew Rawls of Mt. Hermon, Charlie Perez of Los Angeles, CA, Sammy Perez, Nick Perez both of New Orleans, Ryan Norrell, Newt Dykes, Sissy Stevens; Great grandchildren: Nora and Preston Holloway, Sadie, Avery, and Oaklyn Rawls; Numerous step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Holloway and her parents Warren “Son” Milton and Inez Dillon Milton.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday, January 4th from 9:00 am until 11 a.m. A funeral will be held at 11 am with Deacon Steve Sykes officiating. Burial will follow at Star Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
