Oliver Howard

January 20, 1946 - November 30, 2023

Oliver Howard was born in New Orleans, LA to Miss Elnora Brock Brumfield. He departed this life on November 30, 2023, at Richardson Hospice House in Hammond, LA. Oliver was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Janie Howard two children Mahasa Carter and Yaniek Howard; two grandchildren Iman Carter Emanuel Carter; three sisters; Sendonia Martin, Cynthia Magee, Marilyn Brumfield; four brothers: Fred ( Joan) Garrett, Noah Brock, Mitchell Brumfield, Rays Brumfield, a special niece Felcia Handy, a special newphew Roman Warren; one precious aunt Minora (Big Baby ) Watson; four brother in laws: Wayne ( Jackie) Dillon, John (Marquilla) Wilson, Charles ( Angie) Wilson, Vincent Wilson; six sister in laws: Lizzie Robinson, Kiewanda Wilson, Benjamin (Priscalla ) Wilson, Brenda King, Tina ( Darryl) Anders,  and a God daughter A’Rubian Long; and a host of relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother Miss Elnora Brock Brumfield and grandmother Corriane Brock.

A Memorial Service will be held  7PM  on Friday, December 15, 2023 at  Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel 2000 Washington Street Franklinton, LA  Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
