Ira Arlina Primes Martin
August 7, 1973 - December 10, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of Ira Arlina Primes Martin (Tish), announce her passing on December 10, 2023, at the age of 50 after a short battle with cancer. Arlina was born on August 7, 1973 bringing tremendous joy to her family.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Katelyn Martin, Krista Martin, and Cody Martin; Grandchildren: Kaylee Martin, Madison Jenkins, Andrew Jenkins, Emma Jenkins, and an unborn baby boy, Her mother, Marilyn Wood (Tommy) of Tylertown, MS.
She was preceded in death by her father, Latimore Primes, a grandmother, Ira Latisha Jenkins, her son, Tyler Scott Primes, and a brother, Bobby Glenn Primes.
Tish was deeply loved by her aunts and uncles who she spent most of her younger years with trying to out fish them. Tish leaves behind a host of cousins and extended family whose lives she has touched.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Crain Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Martin’s Cemetery in Thomas, Louisiana.
