Gloria Ann Fornea

February 2, 1947 - December 30, 2023

Gloria A. Fornea, age 76 and a resident of Varnado, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 29, 2023 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, LA. She was a loving mother and friend to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son: LJ Fornea, Jr.; one step-son: Byron and Theresa and their family; an aunt: Lynn Walley; one brother: Larry Alford; her puppy: Honeybun Fornea; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd Fornea, Sr.; her parents: Frank and Nell Alford; her mother-in-law: Ada Mae Owens; and a sister: Pat Alford.

Pallbearers are as follows: Cliff Morris, Justin Stogner, Johnny Runfalo, Steven Sumrall, Chris Walley, and Jake Runfalo.

Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Wednesday, January 3, 2023, a visitation will be held in the funeral home chapel starting at 5PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 4, at 10AM at Varnado Methodist Church in Varnado, LA until time service at 1PM. Interment will immediately follow at T.P. Fornea Cemetery. Rev. Mary Rasch and Pastor Kathy Abrams will officiate funeral service.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family ask donations be made to Varnado Methodist Church.
