The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in locating 36 year-old Rachel Constant (also known as Rachel Herrington) of Kentwood, LA. She is wanted for (1) count of Online Impersonation after she posed as certain individuals on Facebook Marketplace, using the impersonated identities to defraud unsuspecting buyers of items she was selling.
This law, enacted in 2012, prohibits any person from intentionally impersonating someone else online, but in this case, specifically by creating a social networking profile in the other person's name without their consent.
According to investigators, Rachel also has two other outstanding warrants, one being (1) count Simple Criminal Damage to Property and (1) count Failure to Appear - Traffic.
