JoAnn Bascle Zeringue

August 24, 1943 - November 6, 2023

JoAnn Bascle Zeringue, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 80.  JoAnn was born on August 24, 1943, in Raceland, LA and was raised in Lockport, LA where she graduated from Lockport High School.  JoAnn was also a member of Holy Savior Catholic Church of Lockport.  

In 1962, JoAnn married the love of her life, Terry Zeringue, Sr.   They lived in Lockport, LA until 1978 moving afterwards to Enon, LA and then later on to Bogalusa, LA.  In 2022, Joann and Terry celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing that same year.

JoAnn is survived by her son, Terry Zeringue, Jr. and his wife, Lorrie Zeringue; grandchildren, Brandy and Terry III; two sisters, Jane Bascle and Tina Broussard; and a brother, Joey Bascle.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Terry Zeringue, Sr.; son, Jacob Zeringue; parents, Harris Bascle, Sr. and Josephine Bascle; brothers, Harris Bascle, Jr. and Torris Bascle; and a sister, Margaret Bascle Badeaux.

JoAnn will be sorely missed by a large family and friends from all across the country.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
