Disturbance 1. Tropical Depression Sean is no threat to our area and is forecast to become a remnant low today or tonight and dissipate by late Monday. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Disturbance 2. Central Tropical Atlantic (AL94): A broad area of low pressure is located several hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. While this system has become less organized since yesterday, the overall environmental conditions are forecast to become more conducive for development, and a tropical depression or tropical storm is still likely to form within the next few days while the system moves westward or west-northwestward across the central and western tropical Atlantic. Formation chance through 48 hours...medium...60 percent and formation chance through 7 days...high...90 percent.
