Thanksgiving Senior Luncheons Scheduled

The Sheriff Randy Seal Annual Senior Thanksgiving Luncheons have been scheduled!

For the east side of the parish, the luncheon will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 10:45 AM to 12 PM at the American Legion in Bogalusa. Click here for more information.

For the west side of the parish, the luncheon will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 10:45 AM to 12 PM at the First Baptist Church in Franklinton. Click here for more information.

Founded in 1948, Jubilee Days began as a celebration of the harvest and of God's blessings on the community. It has since become a celebration of the unique heritage of Zion, Illinois. The town was founded in 1901 by the reverend John Alexander Dowie, organizer of the Christian Catholic Church. He died in 1907 and was succeeded by Wilbur Glenn Voliva.
