Paul Edward Scott

Paul Edward Scott, age 77, passed away on October 17, 2023, at his home in Angie, LA. He was a life-long resident of the Angie community, where he owned Scott’s Hardware. Mr. Paul was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Paul was survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Mrs. Shirley Singley Scott; four children: Eric Martin Scott, Natasha Rose Brooks, Michael Todd Lang, and Matthew W. Lang; eleven grandchildren: Brooke Elizabeth Lang, Morgan Lang, Seldon Taylor Lang (Bracie), Austin Trevor Lang, Eli Logan Lang, Michael Scott Lang, Gracie Lynn Lang, Benjamin Anthony Brooks, Francesca Elaine Brooks, Harper Lang, and Corbin Lang; five great-grandchildren; one brother: David Scott (Welda); and a host of nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Kermit and Reba Scott; six siblings; and a one nephew: David Edward.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with his final arrangements. On Monday, October 23, 2023, a graveside service will be held at Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church at 12PM with Bro. Mark Hobgood officiating.
